My client is one of the world's leading wind turbine manufacturers and has been setting technological milestones in the industry for more than 25 years. They have production plants on three continents and market representation in 36 countries.
Construction Manager required for to manage, co-ordinate and report on construction progress on the company's built wind farm in Co Tyrone. The position will be on an initial 6 month contract basis.
Construction Manager – Windfarm Works
Location: Omagh Co Tyrone
Manage, co-ordinate and report on construction works on company built windfarms
Oversee and verify works performed by contractors
Perform site evaluations and contractor audits
Oversee design in accordance with required specifications on site
Liaise with external suppliers and customers
Support in the execution and performance of PSCS duties on site where necessary
Bachelor of Civil Engineering (BEng) or equivalent
Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in civil works project management, ideally within wind industry
Have a positive, pro-active approach to working in a team environment along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Excellent decision making skills and the ability to be assertive
Proficiency in all MS Office packages, SAP knowledge is beneficial
Willingness to travel and to work flexible hours on occasion to meet challenging deadlines
Full clean driving license
Valid Safe Pass or equivalent certification
